What Is Cucurucho?
Cucurucho is a special ring-game mode that can periodically introduce unique hands into your regular Club Games session. It does not replace the game you are already playing. Instead, at configured intervals, a Cucurucho hand kicks in, and everything changes.
No pre-flop betting. No drawn-out action before the flop. Just antes, an immediate flop, and one defining decision: Pot or Fold.
That simplicity is exactly what makes it exciting. Every Cucurucho hand cuts straight to the moment that matters most and forces one clear decision. For players who love action, it is a breath of fresh air. For players who are newer to the game, the straightforward structure makes it easy to jump in without feeling lost.
How a Cucurucho Hand Works
When a Cucurucho hand is triggered, the standard rules step aside. Here is what happens:
Everyone antes up. All players at the table contribute the designated ante before any cards are dealt. The pot is already building before you see a single card.
The hole cards and flop hit immediately. There is no pre-flop betting round. The first three community cards are dealt straight away, giving every player information before they commit any more chips. You get to see the board before making your decision, which changes the entire dynamic of how you think about your hand.
Then you choose: Pot or Fold. This is the moment. On the flop, you have two options: bet the size of the pot or fold your hand. No limping, no min-raising, no checking. One decision, and it matters. The pot-sized bet keeps every Cucurucho hand meaningful.
Then the turn and river, but no bets. Once the flop action is complete, the turn and river are dealt without any further betting rounds. The hand plays out and the pot is awarded.
It is fast, it is decisive, and it brings a completely different energy to the table compared to a standard ring-game hand.
Make It Your Own

When setting up a Cucurucho table, you control the ante amount, deciding how much each player contributes when a special hand is triggered. You also set the trigger interval, choosing how frequently Cucurucho hands occur. This can be configured by number of hands played or by time elapsed, giving you precise control over how often the format interrupts the regular flow of the game.
You can also choose between Single Board and Double Board configurations, adding another layer of variety for clubs that want to push the format even further. Double Board in particular opens up some interesting dynamics, with two runouts giving players more ways to scoop or split the pot.
Regular hands continue between Cucurucho triggers, so the special format blends naturally into your existing ring-game session rather than taking it over entirely. Your players get the variety without losing the rhythm of the game they came to play.
Getting Started
Setting up a Cucurucho table on ClubGG is straightforward. Open your Club, head to the table creation menu, and select Ring Game. From there, choose Cucurucho under Game Mode, configure your ante amount, trigger interval, and board preference, then create the table.
Once it is running, your regular game continues until the first Cucurucho hand is triggered. From that point, your players will know exactly what it feels like. The reactions at the table tend to say everything.
