What a Poker Agent Does, and Where a Super Agent Fits
Updated: 3 days ago
An Agent on ClubGG is responsible for supervising and managing the poker players within a defined downline.
A Super Agent sits one level higher in that structure and can supervise both Agents and Players within their own downline.
Those roles are part of ClubGG's wider Club hierarchy:
Club Master/Creator → Club Manager → Super Agent → Agent → Player
In general, the available permissions decrease as you move down that structure.
For a broader explanation of all Club roles, see ClubGG Club Roles Explained: Master, Manager, Agent and Player.

What an Agent Does
An Agent manages Players within their assigned downline.
The role is different from Club administration. While the Club Master and Club Managers have broader administrative capabilities, an Agent's responsibilities are focused on the Players beneath them in the Club structure.
An Agent's downline can be managed by the Club Master, a Club Manager or the Agent's Super Agent.
Agents can grant Club chips to Players within their downline from the Club chips allocated to them. If an Agent needs more, they request them from their Super Agent.
Game restrictions can also flow down the hierarchy. If a restriction is applied to an Agent, the same restriction applies to the Players within that Agent's downline.

Where a Super Agent Fits
A Super Agent sits above regular Agents within the Club hierarchy.
Unlike an Agent, whose downline consists of Players, a Super Agent can supervise and manage both Agents and Players within their downline.
This allows larger Club structures to be organized across multiple levels. For example, a Super Agent may oversee several Agents, with each Agent responsible for their own group of Players.
A Super Agent's downline can be managed by the Club Master or a Club Manager.
Super Agents can grant Club chips to members of their downline from the Club chips allocated to them. If they need more, they request them from the Club Master or a Club Manager.
Restrictions also pass down through this structure. If game restrictions are applied to a Super Agent, those restrictions also apply to the Agents and Players within that Super Agent's downline.

Agent vs. Super Agent
The main difference is who each role can manage.
An Agent supervises and manages Players within their downline.
A Super Agent can supervise and manage both Agents and Players within a broader downline.
That additional layer makes the Super Agent role useful when a Club has a larger or more complex Agent structure.
Not every Club needs to use both roles. The structure can be configured according to how the Club is organized.
How Poker Agents Fit With Club Managers
Agents and Club Managers serve different purposes.
A Club Manager is the highest role that can be assigned by the Club Master. By default, a Manager has the same Club management capabilities as the Club Master, except that a Manager cannot request Union creation or disband the Club. The Club Master can restrict individual Manager permissions from there.
Managers also have unlimited access to Club chips and can manage the downlines of Super Agents and Agents.
Agents, by comparison, operate within their assigned downline rather than administering the Club as a whole.
A Club member holds one role at a time, so a Manager and a Poker Agent are separate positions within the hierarchy.
Role Changes and Downlines
Downline structure matters when roles are changed.
Before changing the role of a Super Agent or Agent, their downline must first be fully cleared.
This helps keep the Club hierarchy organized and prevents Players or Agents from remaining attached to a role that is no longer active.
The Structure at a Glance
At its simplest:
Club Master/Creator: created the Club, has all available permissions and manages roles across the Club.
Club Manager: the highest assignable role, with broad Club management capabilities.
Super Agent: supervises and manages Agents and Players within their downline.
Agent: supervises and manages Players within their downline.
Player: the default role for Club members, who participate in Club activities and games.
The key distinction between an Agent and a Super Agent is therefore straightforward: an Agent manages Players, while a Super Agent can manage both Agents and Players.
